LTTA in Uşak, Turkey, from the 18th to the 22nd November 2019

The first exchange was held for five days (2 travel days and 3 working days), prepared by the partner school in Turkey. The program was discussed and determined earlier by all partners through different platforms: Shared Google Drive, e-mail and a project coordinators Whatsapp Group created for the whole project. Statistics were shared and provided by all project partners. Only teachers and school staff attended this meeting as it was a training to enforce the project perfectly. A seminar/course was organized by the host school on the subject that matters to understand "how to increase profession existence starting from school life".

This system included the activities of the challenge and people related to the sub-topic "demanding situations and opportunities within the modern global of works" and a workshop called "Challenges and opportunities in the contemporary world of works". Participants in the activity were: 3 teachers and staff members from Lithuania, 3 teachers and staff members from Hungary, 2 teachers from Italy, 2 teachers from Spain and 3 teachers and staff members from Turkey. Local participants in Turkey included 12 students (who would later on participate in the other planned LTTAs) and 7 teachers.

During the meeting, new labour market realities were discovered, project activities were planned and it was discussed how to include them into the college curriculum. Participants experienced a new reality and a way of life of the host partner, took a look at particular activities so that they can put them into practice at their schools, set up friendships, be aware of a new culture, conceptions, placing commonplace dreams, teamwork, foreign language conversation, and so on and so forth. Teachers guided the completion of project objectives and all project activities performing were correlated to set aims. Expected project results are to be achieved upon completion of activities, as devised in the methodology of running the project. The practices will be conducted in all partner school systems in a program and measured at local level first. Students will design presentations in different formats-PowerPoint/Prezi etc. on the topics about their schools, cities, countries and two subtopics stated for each LTTA.

The subtopic activities are different for each partner and will comprise presentations of identified facilities and methodologies in the country, observations of current practices, cultural activities in school or visits to different partner institutions for the guest teachers and students. During the LTTAs, after the working program, teachers attained first-hand experience on the way of life in those countries. Due to activities organized in host schools, they attended and observed were the lessons took place as it was Bank holiday in Turkey, used English as the communication language, joined the training courses, developed communication and interpersonal skills, learned about practices, customs, traditions of other European citizens, enhanced their teamwork skills in international multicultural environments.

Teachers were able to closely observe curricular characteristics in partner countries operating at systems of education, shared feasible practices and methods on project topics, information which they will include in their teaching practice, develop teamwork and communication skills, increased ability to promote flexible learning pathways among students. A truly important added value of these activities consists of developing students' responsible behaviour and achievement to overcome failure.
